Το έργο αφορά ένα συγκρότημα πέντε ανεξάρτητων, διώροφων κατοικιών μινιμαλιστικού σχεδιασμού, τοποθετημένων με αποσπασμένη διάταξη στη Χαλκιδική, σε άμεση εγγύτητα με τη θάλασσα. Το ισόγειο κάθε κατοικίας διαμορφώνεται από πέτρινους τοίχους με ελαφρά κλίση, οι οποίοι λειτουργούν ως στιβαρή βάση για τον ανώτερο όροφο. Ο όροφος αποδίδεται ως ένας καθαρός, ορθογωνικός όγκος που «κουμπώνει» πάνω στη λιθοδομή, ενισχύοντας την αντίθεση ανάμεσα στη βαριά, γήινη υλικότητα του ισογείου και τη λιτή γεωμετρία της ανωδομής.

The project consists of a residential complex of five independent, two-storey houses with a minimalist design, arranged in a fragmented layout in Halkidiki, in close proximity to the sea. The ground floor of each dwelling is formed by inclined stone walls, which act as a solid base for the upper level. The upper floor is conceived as a clean, orthogonal volume that “rests” on the stone structure below, reinforcing the contrast between the heavy, earthy materiality of the base and the light, restrained geometry of the superstructure.
